Gwyneth Paltrow Found Not Liable in 2016 Ski Accident

Jury Rules in Favor of Academy Award-Winning Actress

Plaintiff Terry Sanderson Found 100% at Fault

In a high-profile trial, an eight-person jury has ruled that Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow is not liable for a 2016 ski accident that left a retired optometrist with injuries. The plaintiff, Terry Sanderson, had filed a civil lawsuit against Paltrow, alleging negligence and seeking damages for his injuries.

After a week-long trial, the jury deliberated for several hours before reaching a unanimous verdict. The jury found that Sanderson was 100% at fault for the accident, clearing Paltrow of any responsibility. The jury also awarded Paltrow $1 in damages, which is a common practice in such cases to indicate that the defendant was found not liable.

Paltrow expressed her gratitude to the jury for their verdict. In a statement released after the trial, Paltrow said, "I am relieved and grateful that the jury found me not liable for this accident. I have always maintained that I was not at fault, and I am glad that the jury agreed."

Sanderson's attorney said that he was disappointed with the verdict but respected the jury's decision. He said that they would consider their options for further legal action.
